No. Our controlled process and hand-blocking are designed to preserve the original size and shape. We record measurements before treatment.
Can you remove red wine from a silk gown?
We can assess it and treat it with targeted enzymatic spot care. Our reported success rate is over 98% for wine, oil, and ink on silk when the fibre has not been permanently altered.
Do you clean vintage beaded items?
Yes, after an inspection of the beads, thread, trims, and adhesives. We hand-clean when solvents could loosen old adhesive.
Is my garment insured while in your care?
Yes. Garments are documented at intake and covered by our garment insurance while they are in our care.
